MD Screen is a dual element screen with fine optical microstructure. It plays high quality image with all projectors in locations with high ambient light and offers viewer the best visual enjoyment.

      Screen size is available from 50" to 70”, with 4:3 or 16:9 and can be resized to any dimension according to customer’s  request.

BPS is one of Probright’s newly developed high performance rear projection screen products. By adding a layer of precision- designed optical microstructure, 3M RPF film, to our Fresnel lens, the interference of ambient light can be reduced effectively. In the same time, it also will be able to maintain the excellent visual contrast.

To keep the high contrast ratio, BPS has a layer of black absorption layer to reduce the non-vertical light from the left side (projector side) and the ambient light from the right side (spectator’s side). Due to the high contrast, the screen looks black without projection of light. This is where the “Black Pro Screen” name comes from.

Comparing to traditional optical structure, the micro lens structure of BPS is much tinier. This is why BPS can meet better resolution request. BPS can not only provide high contrast but also maintaining suitable screen gain value to meet different brightness and viewing angle requirements.

Operation Mechanism

Concentrating the light beam from projector through glass micro lens structure and black layer, the projection image can be maintained as sharp and fresh without the interference from the bright ambient light.

Structure
BPS rear project screen is consisted of 3 layers of structure.

Black Glass Bead 

Black Glass Bead layer is the one facing the projector. The function is to gather the projection beam from projector. It is constituted from millions of black glass bead. By concentrating the light into one center point, the beam will emit from micro lens to the black absorbing layer.

Ambient Light Absorption Layer

The medium layer is the black absorption layer. The high image contrast can be reached through its capability of ambient light absorption.

Acrylic Acid layer with Glare Proof Surface

Passing through black absorption layer, the projection light reach the Acrylic Acid layer facing the spectator. The light will be projected out to form a visually comfortable image through the glare proof surface to the spectator. With combination of the three layers, the brightness and contrast ratio have been greatly enhanced. No matter it is viewed within bright ambient light, or from the side, the viewing satisfaction can be reached with full color and high resolution.

Applications:

Solar concentrators are often mounted on a solar tracker in order to keep the focal point upon the cell as the sun moves across the sky. With the concentration of the sun light, the cells require high-capacity heat sinks to prevent thermal destruction.

HCPV is suitable for large-sized solar power plant and/or combination with parking lot and farm application. The desired locations for HCPV are those with abundant sunshine and dry weather.

Lens Construction

The Glasinel ^TM product series consists of two different type of material: Silicon on Glass and PMMA.

In house tooling design and manufacturing capability makes it flexible when it comes to changes and customization. The automatic machine for molding is currently under development.

Glasinel ^TM product series can currently provide single lens and 2 by 2 lens array. The 2 by 4, 4 by 4, and 4 by 6 lens array are currently under development stage. The standard size of single lens is 120mm by 120mm. Focal length is 200mm. Seamless combination can be provided to have minimal total size of module. Cu

Optical Film is also called prism film. It is the key component of the TFT LCD backlight module, which consists of light, Optical Film, Light Guide Plate or Diffuser, Reflector and protection film). Main function is to utilize refraction and reflection of light from diffuser to concentrate within ±35 degree view angle. Moreover, it can recycle and decrease loss of the underutilized light that is out of the viewing angle through reflection. This way, the brightness of the center viewing angle can be increased and the viewing angle can be managed through actual requirement to provide efficient utilization and recycle.

Generally, 1 Optical Film can increase 40-60% of brightness. Higher brightness can be reached with 2 sheets of Optical Film placed with optical microstructure vertical to each other. Generally speaking, for the LCD display, monitor need 1 sheet, NB and TV need two. Therefore, Optical Film is closely related to LCD panel and backlight module industry.

Probright has been involving with the development and manufacture on rear projection screen and optical screen. We have experienced technique on precision machining and apply a lot of patens at this field.

We provide the service of roller precision machining and the surface treatment process, that could be applied at the product such as brightness enhancement film (BEF), prism sheet, lenticular sheet with precise microstructure patterns.
